REFLEXOLOGY

The theory behind reflexology is that there are points (reflexes) on the feet and hands which reflect a mini map of the body and all its systems.

​

Reflexologists are trained to detect imbalances in these reflexes which can be released through pressure techniques. Energy can then flow freely to the corresponding parts of the body, encouraging a more healthy balance.

​

Reflexology may be chosen simply as a wellbeing boost, or for support with specific health related issues such as depression, anxiety, migraines, digestive problems, fertility issues and more. Many report a significant improvement in their symptoms, and feel they can cope better.

​

It is estimated that 90% of illnesses arise through stress. Reflexology offers an antidote by fostering a state of deep calm and relaxation, and can be a stepping stone to improved mental and physical health.

​​

Whilst it should never be a substitute for seeking medical advice,  it can work brilliantly alongside most medical treatments.

​

I think of reflexology as a way of “fine tuning“ the body helping it cope with whatever comes its way.

​

I like to have regular treatments myself as part of my overall self care to maintain my health and keep me feeling good​

ENERGY HEALING

We all have an innate ability to channel healing energy to others if we have compassion and are open hearted.

My mum, who was a nurse, used to ease her patients' fear and pain by gently resting her hands on them, and often did the same for me when I was ill.

My own training as a Healer in 2008 with the Healing Trust taught me to understand more about this wonderful free gift from the universe, and how best to use it.

This gentle but powerful hands on therapy brings comfort and a sense of well being  and  complements any other holistic or medical treatment.
